Standar Teknik Pengukuran Gas
Preliminary Information on the Scope

  •  Legal metrological control:
         1. Only to meters (OIML R 137-1)
         2. Only to some individual parts of the measuring system
         3. To the complete measuring system

  •  Scope of application for gaseous fuel
        1. with a designed maximum flowrate Qmax  equal to
or greater than 100 m3/h at base conditions and
for operating pressures equal to or greater than
        200 kpa absolute
        2. not fitted with diaphragm gas meters

Measuring System and Its Constituents
  • Meter: Instrument intended to measure, memorize and display the volume or mass of gas passing through the flow measuring device at metering conditions (the display may be a remote indicating device)
  • Flow Measuring Device: part of the meter that converts the volume or mass flow of the gas to be measured into signals for the calculator (including sensors and transducer)
  • Sensor: element of a measuring instrument or measuring chain that is directly affected by the measurand
  • Measuring Transducer: device that provides and output quantity having a determined relationship to the input quantity
  • Ancillary Devices: repeating indicating device, printing device, memory device, totalizing indicating device, conversion device
  • Additional Devices: filter, flow conditioner, branch or by pass line, valves, pressure reduction device, sampling systems, piping, etc.
